The Flor de Maga is the national flower of Puerto Rico, my mother island and it is also a flower commonly found in Florida where I was raised. This Flor de Maga Series is an ode to my roots as they adorn the walls of my current home in Germany. Whenever I am missing home, I create it cultivating my culture and identity where ever I may be.
